- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- For topping: 1/4 cup melted butter + 1/2 cup sugar + 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Simmer the cider on the stove until it reduces to 1/2 cup
- Mix butter and sugar until fluffy, add eggs and sour cream
- Alternate adding dry mix with reduced cider
- Bake at 350°F for 40–45 minutes
- Brush with melted butter and dust with cinnamon sugar
