Description
This Apple Pie Breakfast Pastry is flaky, golden, and filled with warm cinnamon apples. Easy to make with puff pastry and topped with a sweet vanilla glaze!

- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Optional: powdered sugar glaze or icing drizzle
Instructions
- Sauté diced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and butter over medium heat until softened (8–10 min).
- Roll out pastry, cut into squares, spoon filling into centers, fold or cover with another square.
- Crimp edges with fork, brush with egg wash, bake at 375°F for 20–25 minutes until golden.
