Ingredients

- 1½ lbs fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- ¼ tsp fine sea salt
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- ½ cup raw pecan halves, roughly chopped
- Optional: garlic powder, red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Prep the Brussels Sprouts
- Trim ends and remove any yellow outer leaves.
- Cut large sprouts in half for even roasting.
- Toss with Oil and Seasonings
- In a large bowl, combine sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Toss in the pecans for the last part of mixing.
- Roast Until Crispy
- Spread out on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast at 425°F for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Drizzle balsamic and maple syrup in the last 5 minutes for a caramelized finish.
