Ingredients

  • lbs fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¼ tsp fine sea salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • ½ cup raw pecan halves, roughly chopped
  • Optional: garlic powder, red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Prep the Brussels Sprouts
  2. Trim ends and remove any yellow outer leaves.
  3. Cut large sprouts in half for even roasting.
  4. Toss with Oil and Seasonings
  5. In a large bowl, combine sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  6. Toss in the pecans for the last part of mixing.
  7. Roast Until Crispy
  8. Spread out on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  9. Roast at 425°F for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  10. Drizzle balsamic and maple syrup in the last 5 minutes for a caramelized finish.
