Description

This ultimate summer California Roll Salad is light, refreshing, and packed with bold sushi-inspired flavors like crab, avocado, and creamy dressing.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked sushi rice
  • 1/2 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, julienned
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cup imitation crab meat (or real crab for upgrade)
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 sheet nori, sliced
  • Optional: sriracha, pickled ginger, wasabi

Instructions

  1. Cook rice and mix in vinegar, sugar, and salt
  2. Let cool to room temperature
  3. Slice cucumber, avocado, crab, and nori
  4. Mix soy sauce, mayo, and sesame oil for dressing
  5. Layer sushi rice, then veggies and crab
  6. Drizzle dressing, top with sesame seeds and extra nori
  7. Optional: drizzle spicy mayo and garnish with pickled ginger
