Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups cooked white rice (preferably day-old)
  • 1 cup sweet corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil (like canola or avocado)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons furikake seasoning
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon MSG (for umami boost)

Instructions

  1. Heat neutral oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Scramble the eggs until just set, then remove and set aside.
  3. Add corn and cook for 2 minutes until slightly charred.
  4. Add rice and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes.
  5. Return the eggs to the pan.
  6. Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, and half the furikake.
  7. Mix in chopped green onions.
