Description

This Crunchwrap Casserole recipe combines all the bold flavors of a Taco Bell favorite in one easy-to-bake, family-friendly dish. Freezer-friendly & customizable!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • ½ cup water
  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • 6 small tostada shells (or crispy corn tortillas)
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 ½ cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce (optional, for topping)
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • Cooking spray or oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and water, simmer until thickened (about 5 minutes).
  3. Grease the 9×13 dish and preheat oven to 375°F.
  4. Place 2 flour tortillas as the base layer.
  5. Add a layer of beef, tostadas, cheese sauce, shredded cheese, and repeat.
  6. Finish with tortillas on top and sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Cover with foil, bake for 20 minutes.
  8. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes until golden.
  9. Let rest 10 minutes before cutting.
