Description

These Cuban sliders are so good, you’ll swear they should be illegal. Melty cheese, tender pork, and bold flavor in every bite—don’t miss this recipe.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pack (12-count) sweet Hawaiian rolls (for Hawaiian roll Cuban sliders)
  • ½ lb thinly sliced cooked pork roast (Cuban pulled pork sliders style)
  • ½ lb thinly sliced honey ham
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese, halved
  • Dill pickle slices (about 12)
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Without separating them, slice the entire slab of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
  2. Place the bottom half into a greased baking dish.
  3. Layer the Fillings
  4. Spread mustard evenly on the cut side of the bottom half.
  5. Add layers: ham, pork roast, Swiss cheese, then pickle slices.
  6. Top & Butter
  7. Place the top slab of rolls back on.
  8. Mix melted butter, Worcestershire, onion powder, garlic powder, and poppy seeds.
  9. Brush butter mixture generously over the tops.
  10. Bake It
  11. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
  12. Uncover and bake another 5–7 minutes until tops are golden and cheese is melted.
