These dangerously delicious shrimp lettuce wraps are packed with flavor, freshness, and crunch. So good, they’ll wreck your diet—in the best way.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 head Boston Bibb lettuce (or Romaine hearts)
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ cucumber, diced
  • ¼ cup pickled turnips
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for spice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce
  2. Mix garlic, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and a dash of chili flakes. Let it sit for enhanced flavor.
  3. Cook the Shrimp
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat
  5. Add shrimp, seasoning with salt & pepper
  6. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until pink and opaque
  7. Assemble the Wraps
  8. Lay lettuce on a plate
  9. Add a few slices of bell pepper, cucumber, and cherry tomatoes
  10. Top with 1–2 shrimp
  11. Drizzle sauce
  12. Garnish with parsley and green onions
