Ingredients

  2. 10 oz fresh baby spinach
  3. 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  4. 2 garlic cloves, minced
  5. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  6. 1 cup whole milk
  7. 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  8. Salt and black pepper, to taste
  9. Optional: pinch of ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven to 375°F. Grease your 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Sauté Veggies: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add onions, garlic, and spinach. Cook until wilted. Season.
  3. Layer Base: Spread the cooked spinach mix in the baking dish.
  4. Crack and Pour: Crack eggs over spinach evenly spaced.
  5. Add Cheese & Milk: Sprinkle cheese over eggs. Pour milk or cream over the entire dish.
