This Shrimp Scampi with Pasta is bursting with garlic, lemon, and buttery flavor. A quick and elegant dinner that’s ready in just 30 minutes with simple ingredients!

- 1 (16 ounce) package spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes with garlic
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Save 1/2 cup of pasta water for sauce adjustment.
- Sauté the Aromatics
- Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet.
- Add onion and garlic. Sauté until translucent.
- Cook the Shrimp
- Add shrimp to skillet, season with salt and pepper.
- Sear 1–2 minutes each side until just pink.
- Deglaze & Build the Sauce
- Pour in white wine and lemon juice. Let simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Add diced tomatoes and red pepper flakes.
- Toss pasta into the sauce. Add pasta water if needed.
- Garnish with parsley, optional Parmesan. Serve hot.
