Description
Tahini swirl brownies are rich, fudgy, and packed with nutty tahini flavor. A Middle Eastern twist on the classic brownie that’s easy to make and hard to resist.

- ½ cup tahini (plus 2 tbsp for swirling)
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- Optional: flaky sea salt topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8 pan with parchment.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and chocolate together until smooth.
- Whisk in both sugars while mixture is warm.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla until glossy.
- Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Fold in ½ cup tahini.
- Pour batter into pan. Dollop remaining 2 tbsp tahini on top.
- Swirl tahini using a knife or skewer.
- Bake for 28–32 minutes until the center is just set.
- Cool completely before slicing for clean edges.
