Description

Tahini swirl brownies are rich, fudgy, and packed with nutty tahini flavor. A Middle Eastern twist on the classic brownie that’s easy to make and hard to resist.


Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup tahini (plus 2 tbsp for swirling)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Optional: flaky sea salt topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8 pan with parchment.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and chocolate together until smooth.
  3. Whisk in both sugars while mixture is warm.
  4. Beat in eggs and vanilla until glossy.
  5. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
  6. Fold in ½ cup tahini.
  7. Pour batter into pan. Dollop remaining 2 tbsp tahini on top.
  8. Swirl tahini using a knife or skewer.
  9. Bake for 28–32 minutes until the center is just set.
  10. Cool completely before slicing for clean edges.
